Majority of the competing examinations in India are based on the CBSE syllabus like IIT-JEE, AIPMT etc. The Central Board of Secondary Education follows the national curriculum and conducts two exams: The All India Secondary School Examination and the All India Senior School Certificate Examination for Class X and XII Boards respectively. CBSE offers more number of aptitude study and scholarship exams for students. It follows the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) agenda and shelters a network of Kendriya Vidyalayas (Central Schools) all over the country making it easier to change schools often.
